General Manager - Tea

Responsibilities
• Train, guide and supervise junior Managers in tea production
• Have vast knowledge on tea, from nursery management; planting tea both local and internationally and forward contractors
• Able to control estate vehicle fleet (tractors, cars, motorcycles and trucks)
• Effectively manage labor (factory operatives, engineering assistants and field general workers) have some experience on dairy animals
• Have extensive knowledge of forestry management
• Able to handle small holder farmers
• Able to plan own budget and control expenditure
• Advise me board of Directors to technical aspects of the company
Qualification
• Degree in Agriculture, should have 5 years experience in similar position, those with a masters degree will have an added advantage

Operations Manager - Tea

Responsibilities
• Over seeing transport logistics
• Ordering and controlling stock items
• Maintaining company's fixed assets register
• Over seeing and advising General Manager on security matters
• Maintain and secure viable business ventures
• Over seeing acquisition of raw materials, spare parts
• Co-coordinating with local and international buyers
Qualification and Experience
• Degree in Agriculture with at least five years experience on a similar position or
• Diploma in Agriculture with ten years experience
• Degree social science
